When you first switch over to an all-natural routine, your skin may go through a process known as 'skin purging'. This can happen when you start using an active ingredient that you have never tried before. In our formulas, we only use natural and cosmeceutical ingredients. Certain cosmeceutical actives that promote fast cell turnover which creates more dead cells on the skin's surface than it's used to. This increases the chance of your pores clogging and causing breakouts. But don't be alarmed, in the long run, these types of ingredients actually reduce breakouts. Your skin just needs time to get used to it. But don't worry! Purging is temporary and the benefits outweigh a week or two of pimples.

Do you have to use this entire routine all in one go?

If you are looking for the ultimate spa treatment and body luxury, use all four products in a routine. Otherwise, you definitely don't have to follow all these steps after your bath or shower! You may choose to use the Sea Salt Scrub and Essential Oils just 1-2 times a week, but use the Aloe Body wash every shower or bath routine and follow with the Aloe Hand & Body Lotion. It's totally up to you how you would like to use this routine!

However, we always recommend you use your daily basics of cleanse, hydrate and moisturise twice a day, every single day. All 3 products work in perfect synergy to ensure every layer of your skin is targeted. Using all three products twice daily will ensure you get the best results from your skincare. Do I really need to use a body oil and a moisturiser?

It's up to you how you would like to use your body routine, but the Essential Oils and Aloe Hand & Body Lotion are both beneficial for your skin for different reasons.
